Kithsiri Liyanage has practised since 2012 across civil, criminal and labour law. His work also takes in customs inquiries, company secretarial practice and instructing briefs, with a consistent emphasis on regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
An alumnus of Richmond College, Galle, he read for a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons) at the University of Ruhuna. He holds a Diploma in Psychological Counselling and later took a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Rights at the University of Colombo.
As a Notary Public in Colombo he handles conveyancing and real estate transactions, and he advises on corporate structuring, compliance and trade regulation. He has represented both local and international clients in regulatory proceedings.
Before he came to the law he worked with Save the Children in Sri Lanka, CARE International and Handicap International, on development, child rights and human rights. That earlier career gives his practice a wider frame than the pleadings alone.
